1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TypingDost, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

2. Permitted Educational Use

TypingDost is provided as a 100% free educational platform designed to assist students, job aspirants, and professionals in developing touch typing proficiency in English, Hindi, and 12+ Indic languages. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and practice typing on the site for non-commercial educational purposes.

3. Prohibited User Conduct

When using TypingDost, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Automated Botting & Cheating: Using automated scripts, bots, keystroke emulators, browser extensions, or malicious software to artificially inflate WPM scores or bypass typing timers.
• Denial of Service (DoS): Attempting to overwhelm, overload, or disrupt our servers, CDN endpoints, or network infrastructure.
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse engineering, or scraping proprietary codebase algorithms, transliteration maps, or design assets without explicit permission.
• Circumventing Advertisements: Artificially clicking or scripting clicks on advertisements served via Google AdSense or third-party ad networks.
• Illegal Content: Using our custom text upload feature to process or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or harmful material.

4. Free Typing Certificates & Disclaimer

TypingDost provides automated verified typing certificates based on client-side performance measurements (WPM, Accuracy, Net Speed, Keystrokes per Hour). You acknowledge and agree that:

• Typing certificates generated on TypingDost represent personal performance benchmarks and practice achievements.
• While our tests follow exam guidelines (e.g. SSC CHSL, RRB NTPC, High Court Junior Clerk, KDPH criteria), official qualification remains entirely subject to the recruitment board, examination body, or employer administering your specific evaluation.
• TypingDost is an independent educational initiative and is not formally affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), or any judicial authority.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The TypingDost name, logo, custom user interface (UI), sound synthesizer systems, visual effects, and original blog tutorials are the intellectual property of Rizwan Khan and TypingDost. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are proprietary to TypingDost. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or sell any portion of the site's design or proprietary code without express written consent.

6. Third-Party Advertising & External Links

TypingDost displays advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, notably Google AdSense. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any products, services, claims, or content advertised by third-party sponsors. Any dealings between you and advertisers found on our platform are strictly between you and that third party.

Our blog and practice lessons may also contain hyperlinks to external websites. We do not control the content or privacy practices of external sites and encourage you to review their respective terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")

TypingDost is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uptime availability, or error-free performance. We do not warrant that our typing tests will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free from minor typographical or latency anomalies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TypingDost, its founder (Rizwan Khan), or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, practice time, or exam outcomes) arising out of your access to or inability to use our services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TypingDost and its developers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms of Service or your misuse of the platform.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Effective Date". By continuing to use TypingDost following any revisions, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal dispute arising from or related to TypingDost shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
